Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness Kit for a 2018 Honda Pilot

For your 2018 Honda Pilot, we have a couple different options. If you want a simple 4-way trailer connection I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118760. This harness plugs into your factory wiring harness located in your rear cargo area on the driver's side. You will route the harness through the jack storage compartment to the center of your Pilot and then insert the provided fuses in the fuse box in your engine compartment. I've attached instructions with photos to assist.
If you instead want to add a 7-way which is recommended if you will tow a trailer with brakes or one with an onboard battery, then you will want the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118286. This is my recommendation if you will be regularly towing. You will also want to consider a mounting bracket like # PK12711U and the no drill bracket # C57202.
