need help picking a 16k fifth wheel hitch for a 2019 F-250 short bed with pucks in the bed

We have two sliding fifth wheel hitches rated for 16,000 pounds that fit directly into your 2019 Ford F-250's factory puck system: the Curt E16 # C16515-16020 and A16 # C16520-16020. The other 16k sliders require an adapter.

Between the two Curt hitches I recommend the A16 because of the interlocking dual jaw. It's a much more secure connection than the slide-bar style of the E16 and takes out a lot of the rattle between the hitch and king pin.

You specifically said a 16k but take a moment to look at the 18k Demco Hijacker Autoslide, part # DM8550024. It's a single jaw but it's a wraparound jaw that's an upgrade from the slide-bar style. The biggest feature of the Demco is is the automatic slider. Instead of getting out of your truck and engaging a manual sliding hitch to make a sharp turn the Demco slides back automatically so all you have to do is make your turn. Then it automaticaly slides back into the towing position. It also fits directly into the fifth wheel pucks in your truck's bed.
