Best Trailer Wiring Harness for 2018 Hyundai Elantra With or Without LED Tail Lights
Question:
Hello, I have a Canadian GL SE 2018 Elantra Sedan. I was just curious what difference there is in the version for the Limited version? Is it that the Limited version has LED lights and the plugs are different?

The 2018 Hyundai Elantra Limited version is the only one with LED lights and it has the trim features of chrome door handles, heated rear seats and the 8 inch touch screen navigation system. The only thing that changes anything for the trailer wiring is the LED lighting because the wiring doesn't have the same amount of power required or supplied.
If you have the LED lights, I recommend the wiring harness # 118711.
If you have the incandescent bulb tail lights, I recommend the wiring harness # 118692.
Both will connect to factory wiring behind your tail lights and both will require a 12V power lead from your vehicle battery. This power wire will supply the needed power to the converter in this wiring harness to protect your vehicle wiring from overdraw on your tail light circuits. I've attached an article to help with routing that power wire and have also attached the installation instructions.
