Best Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Security from Theft

Secure bike and rack so rack and bike cannot be stolen from 2000 BMW Z3 M Roadster when Im away. # HRE3

To deter theft of the Hollywood Racks Express 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Fixed Arms # HRE3 I recommend the Thule Passive Security Strap for Trunk Mounted Bike Carriers # TH533. This strap has a dual steel cables inside a nylon sleeve to allow you to loop around the carrier and install the puck on the inside of your locked trunk. To secure the bikes to the rack, I then recommend a cable lock like # e98891 which can be run around the bikes and rack as well as through that security strap loop.
Another option is to use the SeaSucker Cable Anchor for Cable Lock - Trunk Mounted # 298-BA0020 to run a cable lock through.
