How to have Constant 12 Volt Power on a 7-Way on a 2002 Ford F-150
Question:
I want to have constant power to aux 12v on my 7 way. It only has power when my truck is started. Can I change that with changing the relay or is there a different way

You can bypass the factory setup on your 2002 Ford F-150 to have constant 12 volt power on the associated 7-Way circuit. All you will need is about 25 feet of wire # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) and a 40 amp circuit breaker # PK54540.
If looking at the back of your 7-Way connector the 12 volt circuit is the one in the 11 o'clock position. Remove the wire that is there, tape it up with electrical tape or cap it off with a wire nut and stow it out of the way. Then attach one end of the 10-1-1 wire to that location on the 7-Way and route the other end under the truck (follow along an existing harness and zip tie the wire to it periodically) and up into the engine compartment.
Mount the circuit breaker near the battery. The end of the wire you ran will connect to the AUX post on the breaker. With leftover wire attach one end to the BAT post on the breaker and the other end to the positive battery terminal. You now have constant 12 volt power on the 7-Way!
