Question:
I have a 2018 Honda CR-V and want the best trailer hitch for it but also want the hands-free liftgate sensor to work. Got anything?

The best option for a trailer hitch on your 2018 Honda CR-V is the Draw-Tite # 76128 which does allow you to continue to use your hands-free liftgate sensor though you will need to kick your foot to the sides of the hitch to activate it as opposed to the middle where the receiver is.
This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver that will be a great option whether you are towing or just want to use it with a bike rack. For use with a bike rack an important measurement is from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper and on an '18 CR-V with this hitch it measures about 4 inches.
For towing the hitch has a 675 lb tongue weight capacity and 4,500 lb towing capacity although you do want to be sure to check your owner's manual to find out what the capacity of your CR-V is and not to exceed that amount.
For wiring which will give you a 4-way connector and allow you to power your trailer's lights you need Wiring Harness # 118741. I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
