Tekonsha 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness for 2004 Honda Odyssey

Question:

Hi, after installing Tekonsha trailer wiring kit 118336 for my 2004 Honda Odyssey my brake lights do not work. I have followed the instructions correctly and have disconnected the plug from the black box on the inside of the rear panel and then connected the plug from the Tekonsha trailer wiring kit 118336 to the plug that was connected to my cars black box. Not only do I not have brake lights but when I connect the 4 flat to my trailer I have no lights at all. When I reconnect everything how it was originally all lights work. Also the picture shown on the box does not match what the wiring harness is. It is not a T- connector it has 1 plug. As you can see from the pics the pin pattern is not the same. Do I have the wrong harness?

The part you have # 118438 fits 2005 through 2010 model years of the Odyssey.
