2019 Chevroet Spark LS Trunk Bike Rack Recommendation

Question:

Am considering a Softride Trunk Bike Racxk for a 2019 Chevrolet Spark that I just bought. 30 miles on it so far! I like the price and have been using a similar Thule Trunk Rack on my Chevrolet HHR. What should I know?

The Softride Trunkster we used to carry was a confirmed fit for your 2019 Chevy Spark but based on it's features I'd rather steer you towards The Yakima FullBack part # Y02634 which is a much better option that is also a confirmed fit.

It has a wider mounting pad to distribute the weight of the bikes and racks better than the Softride and uses a much more secure way to secure the bike frames. It's does cost a bit more but it's in every way a better rack so in my opinion it's a much better buy. I attached a link to a review video for the fullback for you to check out as well.

If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
