Solution for Getting Signal Lights for Flat Towing Ford Explorer without Splicing into Wiring
Question:
Looking for vehicle specific wiring So I dont have to cut and splice into my vehicles wiring. I put a nice kit in my buddy`s 2012 Focus that was plug and play and would like something like that. Do you have anything like that? Thanks

I may have a solution for you, however there isn't a custom plug-and-play tow bar wiring option available for your 2013 Ford Explorer like the harness you installed on your friend's Focus.
If you don't want to mess with the factory wiring at all on your Explorer another option is a removable tail light kit like the Optronics Heavy Duty Magnetic Tow Lights # TL21RK. This will provide you with the needed tail lights for towing your Explorer without having to splice into its wiring. The magnetic lights will give you a pair of stop, turn, and tail lights that you will simply plug into the connector on your RV/motorhome.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this light kit as well so you can get a better idea as to how they install and operate.
