Power Source for Fan/Heater in Dressing Room on Enclosed Trailer
Question:
I have a stock trailer with a dressing room6x7. It is used for my wife and kids to change clothes in at shows. They are not in there for more than 30 minutes at a time for probably no more than 2 hours a weekend. We have been using a Schumacher 1200 Watt Multifunctional Portable Digital Power Station to run either a small fan or small heater while they change. The trailer has a battery box to run the lights while it is not hooked to the truck. The portable power we have is getting to where it will not hold a charge. I was wondering if we should just replace it or if there is a better option?

Since your power station is starting to fade I recommend replacing it. You can either use the same system (if you feel like it was working well for your application) or you can use a 12V battery and charge it with the CTEK MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger # CTEK56353. This charger will begin to run a pulse maintenance once it senses that your battery is fully charged.
You will need to do some calculating but you may be able to use your current 12V battery. Just be sure that it has enough capacity for running the lights and your fan/heater.
