Availability of a 2 Bike Hitch Rack to Fit Rockwood Fifth Wheel With 2-1/2 Inch Hitch Receiver

The bike rack I would recommend would be the Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier, part # S64663. This bike rack can be used in your 2-1/2 inch receiver by using the Curt Reducer Sleeve, part # 45405. It uses a 5/8 inch hitch pin size which will be long enough to work in your 2-1/2 inch receiver. I am including a link to the instructions on the Swagman bike rack.

I would also recommend to check the size of your hitch receiver to make sure it is 2-1/2 inches, because most hitches on a fifth wheel are 2 inches.

With a 2-1/2 inch hitch receiver on your Rockwood RV, the Swagman bike racks # S64670 and # S64650 will not be able to be used, because those bike racks use a 1/2 inch hitch bolt that will not be long enough to fit through your 2-1/2 inch hitch receiver.

To determine if the # S64663 bike rack will clear the spare tire on your Rockwood Fifth Wheel you will need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on your RV to the outermost edge of your spare tire. This measurement will need to be less than 10-1/2 inches for the # S64663 bike rack to clear your spare tire.

If you wanted a hitch lock you would use the Swagman Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin, part # S64027. This will have the correct length and size to fit the # S64663 bike rack. Since this is a threaded hitch lock it will help in eliminate some of the sway of the bike rack.

The shank on the Swagman # S64663 bike rack will extend straight out from the hitch, so the ground clearance will be the height of the hitch on your RV.
