Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring 4-Way Kit # C59496 that Has Low Voltage on All Pins
Question:
I am installing this unit in my 06 Ram and after installation, I get constant current to all 3 circuit Left turn, Right turn, and Parking lights when the parking lights are on. I have no flashers when the left or right blinkers are blinking. Very confused. Stock Trailer wiring is fine and unmolested.

It's either an issue with the wiring or the converter box is shorted out. Use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the input wires of the # C59496 to make sure they are correct. If so and the 4-way is still not working properly the box has a short and needs to be replaced. If not, then you need to find the correct circuits for the harness to attach to. To me it sounds like a shorted out converter box.
