What is the diameter of the lock? I understand that it may not fit all couplers, as being too fat to slide in the hole. Thanks

The pin diameter of the Trailer Coupler Lock # e98889 is 1/4 inch. The useable span of the pin is 7/8 inches.

Yes you can get the Trailer Coupler Lock part #e98889 and part #e98881 keyed alike if you wanted. You would just need to select the keyed alike option from the drop down menu by the add to cart button.
