Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2015 Jeep Patriot

Question:

I have a 2015 Jeep Patriot. 2WD. I am trying to hook up my trailer lights to the vehicle. I don’t know which wires are the turn signal on the left and right side as well as i dont know which wire is the brake light.

We have custom fit trailer wiring harnesses for your 2015 Jeep Patriot that will make installing trailer wiring much easier than trying to hardwire a connector. You shouldn't try to hardwire a 4-way directly to your vehicle's wiring too as it can't handle the amperage draw of trailer wiring. The kits we offer like the part # 118552 actually draw power from the vehicle battery to prevent damaging the taillight circuits. This kit installs by plugging inline with your taillight connectors which makes it a pretty simple install.
