Parts Needed to Have Functional 7-Way on 2006 Dodge Ram That Bypasses TIPM  

Question:

Is there a kit and installation instructions to bypass the TIPM for trailer wiring for the 7 pin only, I dont have much need for the 4 pin?

If you want a 7-way that is independent of the truck's TIPM you can use hardwired 4-pole kit # 119178KIT and wiring kit # 5506 if you have a 7-way socket on the truck. If you do not have a 7-way socket you can use the same 4-pole kit along with # ETBC7 which includes a 7-way socket.

Either way you will have a 7-way that is not run through the TIPM.
