Question:
What is the measurement from the front of the receiver to the middle of the hole that the pin goes into?

I went out to the warehouse with digital calipers to ensure absolute accuracy with this measurement and found that from the center of the hitch pin hole to the front of the receiver of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75528 measures EXACTLY 2.52".
For wiring which will give your 2017 Chevy Traverse a 4-way connector (if you do not have a factory connector) and allow you to power your trailer's lights you need Wiring Harness # HM11141150. I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
