Replacement Dust Cap or Grease Cap for Trailer

Question:

Thank you for this information. Unfortunately, I don’t even know where to measure? Inside vs outside diameter? I assume the dust cap needs to be 2.047. Do you have dust caps that fit this measurement? Thanks again

We do have replacement dust caps. You will simply need to use a digital caliper like # PTW80157 to determine the size needed. I've linked the page to all your options to assist. I've also linked the page to the bearing protectors that have the integrated grease zerk to maintain them.

My apologies for not explaining where to measure. You can either measure the inside of the hub where the grease cap inserts or you can measure the outside edge of the cap behind the ridge where it inserts into the hub. The diameter does need to be a precise measurement so using the caliper is a big help. We do have bearing protectors that measure the 2.047 inches you stated, so if that is the correct measurement for the location listed above, then I recommend the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors - Model 2047 - Chrome Plated (Pair) # BB2047 or the stainless steel # BB2047SS. These have the built in grease zerk to help maintain your bearings. We do not have a basic grease cap/dust cap for that diameter.
