Will Curt Wiring Harness # 56226 Work with Brake Controller and 12V Charging for Trailer?
Question:
I own a 2011 Nissan Frontier with tow package and 4 pin connector. If I install this kit, can I connect it to a trailer brake and will it charge the battery on my trailer when connected? Thanks.

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # C56226 will allow you to charge your trailer battery through the 12V blade on your 7-way.
Then for your trailer brakes, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 along with the wiring harness # 3050-P if you have that port in your junction box beneath the dashboard, which it sounds like you do. If you don't have that port for some reason, then you would use kit # 5506 to hardwire the controller.
