Goose Box Compatibility or Options for Leland 7900 Pin Box and 2016 Ford F-250 Short Bed

There is not a Goose Box that will fit the 14 inch width of your Leland 7900 pin box. Since your Ranch Hitch Adapter isn't allowing enough clearance, your best option to get the turning clearance you need with your short bed truck is to use the Sidewinder Fifth Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret and then a fixed mounted 5th wheel hitch and rail kit. The Sidewinder pin boxes cannot be used with any gooseneck adapter.

For the Sidewinder, we currently only have the Air Ride 16K # ST400-5AS16K that is compatible with your pin box.

If you have the factory rail kit, you can use the # RP30921 which will drop right into your factory puck system. If you do not you can use the # RP50026-58 and the 20K # RP30928 hitch, and then the custom wedge # 30850. You may also want to consider the wiring harness # 50-97-410 for a clean look and easy connection point.

If you don't have the factory rail kit, you would need to replace your gooseneck hitch with the Custom Base Rail Kit # C16424-204 which installs in the same location to your frame and then you can use offset plate # 16055 for your gooseneck hitch when needed.

Another option is to add the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # RP30126 and then add the Underbed Gooseneck # RP30138 to give you the full factory look for a clean bed when not in use as well as compatibility with all your trailer needs.
