Recommended Aluminum 15 Inch Wheel with 5 Inch Width and 5 on 4-1/2 Inch Bolt Pattern

Question:

Does this rim come in 5 inch width? I need 15×5 on 4 1/2 rim. And what tires do you recommend for a 16×7 dual axle enclosed trailer? Also what stainless accessories do you have for this item? Also the lug nuts I have are 9/16 diameter.

The Aluminum HWT Hi-Spec Series 03 Mod Trailer Wheel # AM22627 referenced in your question features a 6 inch width. This exact model wheel is not available in a 15 inch x 5 inch size, but we do have a nice selection of 15 inch aluminum wheels that do have the 5 inch width you're needing.

The Aluminum Lynx Trailer Wheel # LHSL301 is a really nice 15 inch wheel that features a 5 inch width and 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. It uses 1/2"-20 wheel bolts and you can add the 1/2"-20 Stainless Steel Lug Nuts # LHLR103 along with the Stainless Steel Center Cap from Lionshead # LHCS102-SI60C for a really sleek look. All of the 15 inch wheels we have available are designed to work with 1/2"-20 wheel bolts.

When choosing tires for your trailer, you will want to make sure they give you a combined load rating that is equal to or greater than the loaded weight of the trailer. You will also just want to make sure that you have enough fender and side frame clearance for the tire size. It is usually easiest just to replace tires with the same size you already have mounted. The size will be listed right on the sidewall of the tire itself.

A common tire size for a 15 inch x 5 inch wheel is an ST205/75R15 like the Provider Radial Tire # TR20515D. This particular tire has a Load Range D which will provide you with a maximum load of 2,150 pounds at 65 psi.
