my 2016 f450 superduty has the factory gooseneck and fifth wheel prep Will this hitch work with my truck Is there some type of adapter to get it to mount to the factory location

Expert Reply:
The Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30054 is made for direct-to-frame installation (without industry-standard hitch base rails, called ISRs) on cab-and-chassis-style trucks.
It cannot be installed in standard rails and there is no adapter made to allow mounting this hitch in a Ford truck with the factory 5th wheel prep.
But we do offer many options in a direct-fit 5th wheel hitch you can simply drop into the pucks in your F-450's bed. These hitches include Reese, Curt and B&W products such as the Reese M5 20K hitch # RP30921 and the outstanding B&W Companion models, 20K-rated part # BWRVK3300 and 25K-rated part # BWRVK3305. All of these hitches mount directly in your factory prep kit.
We consider the B&W Companion 5th wheel hitches to be about the finest available. B&W fabricates and assembles entirely in their USA facility and they remain a family-owned business that provides exceptional customer support. Their hitches have unmatched build quality and will deliver a long reliable service life in your F-450.
