Rear Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2010 Ford Edge Carrying Hitch Carrier
Question:
I installed a 2inch hitch on my 2010 Ford edge to carry a mobility scooter. The problem I have is that it sets too low to the ground and in very low spots the carrier will rub. Will this adapter work safely for me as to I want to raise it up with the adapter to give me clearance but it also says that it will reduce my weight capacity by 50. Please advise. Thanks

The only solution we'd have is rear suspension enhancement for your 2010 Ford Edge to reduce the sag at the rear of the vehicle when using the carrier so that you have better ground clearance. For that the Air Lift kit part # AL60819 would be the kit you'd want as this is a confirmed fit for the rear of your Ford Edge.
