Catalytic Converter for 2006 Volvo V70 2.5L Engine
Question:
2006 Volvo V70R, 2.5l 400hp, 6000rpm limit. 4200lb vehicle weight. Changed from 2.5inch exhaust to 3inch total system. Need a straight 3inch in/out catalytic converter. Would also like to have built in sensor port for second o2 sensor, no weld in bung for us if possible. Is either this convertor or #94269 a viable option? Also original convertor has the o2 sensor in the middle of the convertor.. Any special reason? and will an outlet location be like the convertors you sell still work? Thanks for quick answer, want to start quickly.

The only catalytic converter we have available that is confirmed to fit your 2006 Volvo V70 is the MagnaFlow Heavy Metal Loaded # MF99009HM. This converter does feature a 3 inch inlet/outlet but it does not include O2 sensor ports.
The MagnaFlow Stainless Steel # MF94269 that you mentioned may fit with some modification on your Volvo, but I cannot confirm if it will work. It does have the needed 3 inch inlet/outlet and is compatible with your engine size. It includes two O2 sensor ports. The unit measures 16 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 4-3/4 inches tall. Its body length is 12 inches.
