Trailer Bearing Kit and Electric Brakes for a Lippert 4,400 Pound Axle  

Question:

Need to perform the preventative / routine maintenance on our 2017 Keystone Cougar 29BHSWE travel trailer. Has Lippert 4400 axles. Need bearing kits and brake kits. Please let me know the part numbers. Thank You.

The Lippert 4,400 pound trailer axle apparently used a 3,500 pound hub and drum assembly and it has a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern which makes it sort of an odd duck. The bearings should be L68149 for the inner and L44649 for the outer. For a bearing kit that has these bearings and a seal with an inner diameter of 1.719 inches and outer diameter of 2.565 inches use # BK2-100.

For a pair of 10 inch brake assemblies I recommend etrailer brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA. These are self-adjusting brakes so once you adjust them the first time you will not have to manually adjust them again.
