Can Bolts be Reused When Making Head and Hitch Ball Adjustments on Husky Weight Distribution System
Question:
I recently purchased a 2016 F150 to replace my 2001 F150. The Husky Centerline hitch was at the correct height for the 2001 F150. I also am thinking of upgrading my TT which will also probably affect the husky centerline ball height and not make my setup level. Can I undo the 380 ft lb bolts and reuse them to readjust the height of the ball or should I get new bolts and nuts. If I need new parts, can I get the part numbers to make the order simple. Husky Centerline 400 to 600 lbs Thanks

As long as they are in good condition you can certainly reuse the bolts for your Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System # HT32215 when adjusting the head and ball height. This is not a problem at all. Since you will be changing trailers, you will just want to make sure that your new total tongue weight (loaded tongue weight of trailer + added cargo weight behind rear axle of your F-150) still falls within the 400 to 600 pound tongue weight range on the system.
If you find that the trailer is a bit heavier, you can upgrade your system by simply changing out the spring bars to heavier rated units like # HT32329, which will increase your tongue weight capacity range to 800 to 1,200 pounds.
