Hard to Access Brake Switch to Install Even Brake on a 1999 Honda CR-V
Question:
Need to access the switch to tap into the cold side wire on for the Even Brake control system to work properly. I removed a couple of metal braces under the dash but still cant get proper access to the switch. Any ideas, do I need to remove any other objects or steering column to get to the switch?

You don't necessarily have to remove anything else if you are able to see the wiring on the brake switch on your 1999 Honda CR-V. If you can see the wiring then look for the green wire with a white stripe and that is the wire you will need. If you are able to follow that wire it might lead to a place that is easier for you to reach. If there is a dash panel at the lower part of the dash below the steering column you might be able to remove that for better access like on the 2011 model, see video link. But the switch is probably not as easily accessible on a 1999 as it is on a 2011.
