Which Fuse to Install the FuseMaster Fuse Bypass on for a 2010 Honda Fit

Question:

With the 76511 model it says 20 amp and the radio fuse is a 30 amp. Will this blow the 20 amp fuse. From a safety the 20 amp in a 30 amp is no problem but concerned about the radio.

According to the online version of the owner's manual for your 2010 Honda Fit you will need to remove the Radio fuse from the interior fuse block which is in the 61 position. This is where you will want to install the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass # RM76511.

Attached is a sample installation video of this fuse bypass on a 2007 Honda CR-V that you can use as a reference to get an idea of what the installation looks like.

Please note that a complete flat towing setup includes a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.

Great question! I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster who said that when they test fit the FuseMaster Fuse Bypass # RM76511 on a 2010 Honda Fit they swapped out the 30 amp fuse for a 20 amp and it was sufficient for the radio. They actually have this posted through their fitguide on their site so they are 100% certain that this is okay and will work for your application.
