Best Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2015 Lexus RX 350
Question:
Im looking for the right wiring harness for my 2015 Lexus RX350 to haul a utility trailer. U-Haul tells me all I need is the wiring harness my Lexus dealer is telling me I also need a $92 converter! Could you please advise what I really need and the part#s? Thanks!

The 2015 Lexus RX350 could have come with a factory tow package meaning that it would be prewired for a trailer wiring harness which is what that other company that isn't nearly as awesome as us is saying. Models that do not have the factory tow package need an additional piece of equipment which is what the dealer is saying.
I am assuming the dealer would know whether or not the vehicle came with the factory tow package. If it did not then that extra piece of equipment is indeed a converter but you don't have to spend 92 bucks on it. You could instead use # 118255 which comes with all the parts you need to have a functioning 4-Way connector at the rear of the vehicle and at less than half the cost of the dealer.
If you find out that you do have the factory tow package you would just need # 118252. I have linked videos and instructions for both of these harnesses for you.
