Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2011 Subaru Outback Wagon to Carry Kuat Bike Rack

Hi Team, I have a 2011 Outback, and I want to get a hitch-mount bike rack. I have a couple Swagman roof racks I got from you guys years ago, but theyre a bit rusted and my new bikes dont fit on them. I like the review and cost of the escapee 2, but I saw a QandA that suggested it wouldnt be appropriate for a Subaru. I dont have a hitch installed on the Subaru, but am shopping around. Could I find a hitch/bike rack combo that would work particularly with the escapee 2 or do I have to get a standard hitch and go with a different bike rack? I have two Trek 29er mountain bikes, one size medium, one sized XL. Thanks! -

The factory hitches of the 2011 Subaru Outback Wagons are harder to fit bike racks in since they have a very shallow hitch pin location, but since your vehicle does not have a factory hitch you can install an aftermarket hitch like the Draw Tite # 76227 and the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR would fit and work well.

I really like this bike rack as it only touches the tires of the bike when they are secured.
