Extension Hose for Dual Propane Tanks After Regulator on RV

Question:

I need to extend my hose about three feet to go around the new dual 20-gal tank cover. I’m not sure how to tell what size of a hose I need and do i need a back pressure valve if all the rest stays the same.

We have a large selection of propane extension hoses which I have attached for you. In order to find the correct one we would need to know what type of fittings you need on either end. If you do not know what type of fittings you need then you will want to take a look at the attached help article which explains all of the different types. The back check valve you are referring to is usually built into the leader hose that connects the tank to the regulator so you do not need an additional one on the extension hose.

If the extension hose you are referring to is coming directly from the regulator then it will need to have at least one 3/8" male NPT fitting like the MB Sturgis Propane Hose Assembly part # 100383-36-MBS which is 3' long. The other end of this hose has a 1/2" female flare swivel.
