Can Electric Trailer Brakes be Tested One at a Time Instead of as a Whole System
Question:
I have check all the wiring on my RV all appears good inspected wire connections where splits to rear axle all looks good. Pulled wire from inside axle mounted on outside of axle. I am thinking issue is inside one of hubs. Question: looking to do further elimination. Can I eliminate the back axle braking at the spice so only front axle braking is in circut. ? Then do same elinminating front axle breaking. Trying not have to pull wheels on all 4 hubs. Can I take it even further if I narrow it down to one axle and eliminate one side at a time on the axle ?

Yes, you can test brake function at each brake assembly one at a time. If the issue you are having is on a trailer with electric brakes then you can also test the magnets themselves by following the help article I have linked for you. Testing the magnets requires a multimeter such as # PT89ZR if you do not already have one.
