Is Special Axle Needed for Mounting Under Leaf Springs?

my camper has a bent axle and the axles are mounted under the leaf spring. is there a special axle for for under leaf mounting? or will this axle work for either under or over?

The Dexter Trailer Axle Beam # T3584F-EZ-8974 you referenced is an underslung design and you would need an overslung axle, though there is still a way for you to use an underslung axle. I assume you used an over/under conversion kit such as # K71-384-00 to move your leaf springs to the top of your axle. If so, you could still use those U-bolts and Spring Seat for Typical 3,500-lb, Round Trailer Axles with 2-3/8" Diameter # TRSS238 to place this axle on top of your leaf spring.
Or, as I mentioned, you would need to get an overslung axle, which unfortunately we do not carry in the same size as the Dexter you referenced.
