Comparing Curt Trailer Hitches for a 2015 Chevy Cruze LT
Question:
I was looking to install a curt receiver hitch for my 2015 Chevy Cruze LT and saw Item# C11282 and Item# 11425 look identical, and I cant find the difference other than weight and price. Are there any other differences between the two?

There are some subtle differences between Curt trailer hitches # C11282 and # C11425. The receiver is longer on # C11425 and they don't have all the same vehicle fits.
Hitch # C11282 fits the 2011 to 2015 Cruze excluding diesels models, 2016 Cruze Limited models, and the 2012 to 2017 Buick Verano excluding turbo and dual exhaust models.
Hitch # C11425 fits 2016 Chevrolet Cruze Limited models and 2015 Chevrolet Cruze models except for the diesel models.
If it were me I would go with # C11425 so it won't be as hard to reach the receiver to mount accessories. Speaking of accessories, if you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.
Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) per their warranty requirements. I have linked the Class I compatible 2-bike racks and cargo carriers for you.
