Subaru Outback OEM Trailer Hitch Receiver Compatibility with Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier

Will this fit in the OEM hitch of a 2018 outback?

The Subaru OEM hitches are more shallow than aftermarket hitches making many carriers not compatible. The 20x47 Reese Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs # 63155 will fit as it is confirmed to fit Class I and Class II hitches. You could also consider the Curt 17x46 # C18145. Your carrier and cargo will be limited to the tongue weight of your OEM hitch. Please make sure you check to see what this tongue weight is.
