Will the Hopkins Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Work on my 2006 Outback Sport
Question:
This product is not supposed to be compatible with my 2006 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. But my vehicle has the identical tow wiring harness connector as shown in the photos on your #33855 product page. The tow harness converter that you recommend for my vehicle #C59496 looks wrong since it needs to be spliced into the existing wiring. Please advise.

I spoke with my contact at Hopkins and he informed me that if you have the correct connector as shown in the pictures of the product page of the Hopkins Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # 33855 then you can use the # 33855 for tail light wiring.
The Wiring # C59496would also work for you, but it would require that you splice into the tail light circuitry of your vehicle. For that reason I would recommend that you use a # 33855.
