Where Does the Red Wire Go on a 4-Way Trailer Connector

Need to hook six wire to four wire. What does the red brake go on the four wire?

It sounds like your trailer has separate brake/turn signal lights. If this is the case then in order to use a 4-way trailer connector you would need to combined the brake and turn signals with a converter box like the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter part # C56196. This converter box will take the separate brake/turn signals and combined them into one so you can attach the wires to a 4-way trailer connector.
