How do I tell if I have a group E package on a 2016 grand Cherokee?

If your 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee has the side rails with chrome and a channel that runs down the middle of the rail then you have the E Group package. If you don't have the E Group the rails will be entirely black or have chrome accents but won't have the channel.
If you don't have the chrome slotted rails, then I recommend the Thule roof rack consisting of:
