Is it Safe to Plug a 30 Amp Trailer Into a 50 Amp Power Source  

Question:

I have a pop up of 30 amp. I see cord adapter 50 amp to 30 amp and 15 amp to 30 amp. But. It is dangerous for camper or electric system use that adapter? There is any transformator for controller amp and not have issues?

If the trailer requires 30 amp service that is the least amount that the power source will have to have. The power source can be rated higher but the trailer is only going to draw up to a maximum of 30 amps. Provided that you use the proper connector for the trailer and for the power source it will not be dangerous.

Think of it like this: you will plug a clock radio into a wall outlet at home. The clock rated works just fine even though the outlet has much more power than the clock radio requires. The situation is similar with the trailer.
