I spoke to my contact at TruXedo about the TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover that you have on your 2017 Nissan Frontier and they have not had any complaints about the cover squeaking but they did tell me to have you check the distance from the cab to the cover and distance from the tailgate to the cover to make sure they are equal. What is most likely happening is that the header seal is contacting the cab which could then in turn cause the squeaking noise you are hearing. If this is not the case then the only other option I have would be to check that the mounting clamps are all secure and fully tightened.
