Recommended Stabilizer Jacks for a Class A Motorhome
Question:
My 31-foot Class A coach did not come with stabilizers or any leveling system. I understand these jacks are not intended to be used to lift the coach, but can they be used to keep it stable while parked? Will I need to drill mounting holes into the frame?

Expert Reply:
For your Class A Motorhome you are probably going to want to use the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks part # UF48-979031 instead of the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks part # UF48-979002 as they offer more lift which will be needed. They are designed exactly for what your asking which is to help stabilize the motorhome while parked. They will do an excellent job of this and you can install as many of them as you like but you will want to match the numbers on each side.
They will require drilling into the trailer's frame but that will not be able to be avoided when installing stabilizer jacks unless you are handy with a welder or know someone who is.
