The reason that it is important to note the bolt pattern (along with the bearing sizes) is exactly that; to make sure that your current wheels fit properly on the Disc Brake Kit # T4843300.

You are correct that a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern is actually the better route to go. It is more common and will be much easier to replace than a 5 on 4-1/4" bolt pattern wheel. As long as your inner bearing is # L68149, your outer bearing is # L44649, and your grease seal has an inner diameter of 1.719" this will work well for your application.

If you let me know what size tires you currently have I would be happy to make a recommendation from the linked page that has 5 on 4-1/2" tire/wheel combos.

It currently has 205-75-14 and they do not seem strong enough for 2500 LB boat, they look like the tire is low. but I'm at recommend tire pressure for tire. I was hoping to go with 225-75-15, and a better brand. Thanks

Since you are changing out your hubs for a different bolt pattern you will need new wheels as well. Typically for boat trailer applications we recommend going with a galvanized wheel like what comes with the Karrier ST225/75R15 # AM32468, but we actually have a better option that is similarly priced. For your boat trailer I recommend going with the Aluminum Trailer Wheel # AM20518 and th Castle Rock ST225/75R15 # 274-000029. The Aluminum wheel which has the best rust resistance out there. This combo has a weight capacity of 1,820 lbs (so 3,640 lbs per axle), has a speed rating of 75 mph, and comes with the Lionshead Roadside Assistance Program. This complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.

The correct lug nut to use for the aluminum # AM20518 is a 1/2" - 20 with a 60-degree cone shaped end. You can find this with part # LHLR103 on our site. The 1/2" is the bolt size while the 20 stands for how many threads per inch it has.
