I would recommend the Draw-Tite hitch # 24763 for your application. This is the most popular hitch we sell for your vehicle, and it will fit both 2 and 4-door Civics as long as you do not have an Si model. You can take a look at the installation instructions and a video of the hitch being installed on a 2009 Civic at the included links. The installation will be very similar on your 2012 model. A good 2-bike rack for your application would be the Curt # C18085 2-bike rack. This rack is very lightweight and easy to install and remove, and it is also adjustable to accommodate almost any bike style. I am including links to the assembly instructions and a demonstration video for you to reference. I would also recommend that you get the etrailer Cable Lock - 10' Long - 5/16" Diameter - Steel - Keyed Alike # e98891 to secure the bikes to the rack and hitch chain loops.
