Will Rear Helper Springs Fit a 2017 Ford F-150 with Curt Custom 5th Wheel Brackets Installed
Question:
I read your answer to the 2017 Ford F150 SuperCrew 4x4 Ecoboost with the 5.5’ bed, mine has the off road and tow package as well and you recommended Timbren TFR1504E as a good choice for rear suspension enhancement... but would that work for a Curt 5-Wheel A16 C16120, C16442-204 install using their custom bracket? I will be using a Reese sidewinder as well.

Yes, the Timbren rear help springs # TFR1504E will work on your 2017 Ford F-150 SuperCrew with the Curt custom 5th wheel brackets installed. The upper brackets for these springs mount to the bottoms of the frame rails so they won't interfere with the Curt brackets.
Another option, if you want to have some adjustability, is to use air bags such as # AL57284. The upper brackets for these also mount to the bottoms of the frame rails. Air springs like these will allow you to adjust the air pressure in the bags in the ride is too stiff or too soft. With Timbren springs you don't get that adjustability.
If you decide to go with air springs then I also recommend adding an onboard compressor system such as # AL57385. This will allow you to adjust the air springs from the comfort of the truck cab. This means that you will not have to rely on an external compressor!
No matter which type of helper springs you choose they will definitely help when towing your trailer.
