Bike Rack Needed for an Electric Bike and a Kids Bike
Question:
do you need a special rack for pedal assist bikes or for 16 inch rfames

Since you are wanting to carry both a heavier electric bike as well as a kids bike your bike rack options will be pretty limited but we do have a solution for you!
The best option that will absolutely work is the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202. This bike rack can carry 2 bikes weighing up to 65 lbs each. It features a ramp that allows you to easily load your bikes that is also stored on the bike rack. The EasyFold XT has an integrated anti-rattle device that doubles as a bike lock for security and the clamps that secure your bikes also have locks on them for a complete security system. The tilting and folding features are a nice feature as well.
We also have the Saris Freedom # SA4412B which can carry up to 2 bikes weighing 60 lbs each. It is a very basic bike rack that has a folding feature but to add security for both the rack and your bikes you need parts # SA3022 and # SA981. This bike rack only weighs 22.5 lbs and will work great for your kids bike but I am unsure if it will be compatible with your electric bike. If your E-Bike have a thick down tube or a squared down tube then it is less likely to be compatible with this bike rack. A review video for this bike rack has been linked for you to check out.
