Trailer Lift Kit and Equa-Flex Equalizer Compatibility
Question:
I saw this answer but wanted to know what the total lift of this combination is? The Lippert Components Correct Track II Alignment Kit # LC87220 that you referenced will work just fine with the Equa Flex equalizers like part # LC145545. Our contact at Lippert has confirmed this.

The Lippert Components Correct Track II Alignment Kit that would raise your trailer by 2 inches has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The Equa-Flex Equalizers # LC279688 (which replaced the LC145545) will not lift your trailer but will absorb road shock and give you a smoother ride. The equalizers are taller than most at 5 inches from bolt center to center vertically but the system won't raise your trailer height unless paired with other lifting assistance like taller hangers on the front and back where the springs connect to the frame.
If you haven't already used an over-under conversion kit, that is the best way to lift your trailer at the axles. I recommend the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00 for 3 inch diameter axles (5-7K axles) or # K71-384-00 for 2-3/8 inch diameter axles (3,500 lb). This will lift your trailer by the diameter of the axle plus the height of your leaf spring stack. This kit can be used in conjunction with the Equa-Flex Equalizers if desired.
