Since there are no custom fit towing mirrors for your 2009 Chevy Traverse, you will need to use a universal fit mirror. One of the highest rated by customers is the Clip-On Towing Mirror, # 7070. This mirror straps to the factory mirror housing.

At least one customer stated that there was more vibration than he would like. Vibration has as much to do with the specific vehicle as it does the mirror and each person will have a different experience with vibration and fit. I have included a link to a video review of this mirror for you.

Another high rated towing mirror with less vibration issues is the CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror, # 11650. This mirror attaches to the upper and lower portion of the vehicle door and can extend as much as 17 inches. I have included a link to a video review of this mirror as well.
