Fit of Curt C55593 for a 2009 Mazda CX-7
Question:
Hello I am looking for a wiring harness with 4 flat plug that installs into the existing wiring harness in my 2009 Mazda CX7. I am look at the Curt harness item number C55593 I just want to make sure this one just plugs right in. Also, this is my first trailer and Im curious about the Bearing Buddies for the axles. What am I looking for to to determine the correct fit and are these worth the expense? Thanks in advance!

If you already have the plug-in that is behind the passenger side trim panel then then the Curt # C55593 is the harness for your 2009 Mazda CX-7.
When it comes to choosing the correct Bearing Buddy you need to first measure the diameter of your hub bore. To ensure the best fit you need to use a digital caliper that reads to the 3rd decimal place (1.232 for example). One of the most common sizes is 1.980 for a hub bore. If you happen to have this size then you would want to go with part # BB1980A-SS for Stainless Steel or # BB1980A for Chrome.
I have attached a few videos you can check out of the Bearing Buddys for youl. If you just have a standard spindle and you hate having to pull your hub just to do some maintenance greasing then these are definitely worth the expense. They allow you to add more grease to your spindle and bearings without removing anything.
