Will Curt Weight Distribution Shank Fit a Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System
Question:
I currently have the Curt Trutrack C17500 system and I am considering upgrading to the Reese Straight line dual cam. Do I need to purchase a new shank or can I use the one from my Curt system? I assume I could use the same ball.

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can use the shank from your Curt weight distribution system, # C17500, with a Reese Strait-Line system such as # RP66074. Both systems also use a ball with a 1-1/4 inch diameter shank so you can also reuse the ball you have. I have linked a video review of the Strait-Line system for you.
