Question:
will the TH45JV fit a 2011 Cruze and a 2011 Prius?

According to our friends at Thule, the OutWay 2 Bike Trunk Mounted Bike Rack, part # TH45JV, will fit both vehicles. The OutWay is extremely easy to install and remove, which is why I am constantly recommending it.
Thule lists a few vehicle-specific fit notes about each vehicle. For the Cruze, make sure that the bottom mounting hooks attach to the actual metal bumper structure, not the plastic bumper cover. For the Prius, the rear wiper cannot be used while the rack is in place. You will also need to ensure that the lower mounting hooks are kept away from the exhaust pipe.
For women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # TH982XT is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike is not carried at an angle.
I have provided links to the install details and a product demonstration video featuring the Raceway Trunk Mounted Bike Rack.
