Cargo Basket and Roof Rack Recommendation for 2016 Toyota 4Runner

we are looking for a roof rack that will not cover a sunroof of a 2016 Toyota 4Runner. dont mind a nice good condition used. and wondering if we can mount it ourselves?

Looks like you are looking for a cargo basket to fit the factory crossbars of your 2016 Toyota 4Runner. Since they mount on top of the vehicle where the sunroof is it's not really possible to fit one of these without covering the sunroof. But if you go with one that has a floor with plenty of openings like the Thule Canyon XT part # TH859XT-8591XT when the basket is empty the sunroof would be mainly unobstructed.
You may need a set of crossbars if your vehicle only has raised roof rails that run front to back. For that the Thule Aeroblade roof rack part numbers # TH711420 and # TH710401 is our installers favorite option for your vehicle due to ease of install and overall quality. For a lock kit you'd then also need the part # TH450400.
